LinkedIn job titles: We are all a lot more accepting that we are not only “workers” we are human. There is less judgement around taking career breaks, especially for women, feeling comfortable with time out to have children is becoming the morm.
LinkedIn has taken this cultural change on board and made changes to the options for job titles.
To make it easier for moms, and all parents, we’re making some important changes to the Profile. We introduced new job titles, including “stay-at-home mom,” “stay-at-home dad” and “stay-at-home parent” to allow full-time parents and caretakers to more accurately display their roles.
